Shilpa Shetty’s first flick after Big Brother

Actress Shilpa Shetty has become a popular figure in the UK, what with her having won the reality game show Big Brother. And Richard Gere’s kiss to the actress has also garnered much publicity.
The person who is all set to cash in on Shilpa’s current status is producer Ronnie Screwvala, the producer of Shilpa’s next flick Metro. He tells us, “This will be Shilpa’s first release after her Big Brother win and we perceive her accelerating popularity as a positive sign for Metro’s prospects in the overseas market. We have had major enquires from exhibitors and sponsors alike from the UK, US and the Gulf and are hopeful to take the film to all the people who want to watch Shilpa.” So Ronnie, we hear, is going to make this movie larger than life, in India as well as at the international ‘metros’.
