Now Harman Baweja steps out of Love Story 2050
June 16, 2007
First Kareena Kapoor walked out of Love Story 2050, now it is Harman Baweja’s turn to do the same. It is learnt that the newcomer has walked out of Kareena Kapoor-starrer film to be directed by Mohit Suri for the Tauranis.
It is learnt that Harman Baweja felt the story of the film is similar to that of Tushar Kapoor starrer Shart-The Challenge in which the protagonist falls in love with his step-sister, the actor didn’t really like the idea of a hero falling for his stepsister and decided to turn down on the offer of being paired opposite Kareena Kapoor. Like Shart, this film too is inspired from the Hollywood flick Cruel Intentions. Shart was a disaster at the box office.
While the search is on for a new hero for the film, Bhatt camp insists that Suri still hasn’t signed the film. And though the Bhatt camp seems clueless about the fact that their in-house director will be directing a film for another banner, Ramesh Taurani says, “Mohit is directing our film. We have already signed him.” On Harman’s exit from the film, Ramesh Taurani says, “We haven’t even announced the cast it is all media speculations. The day we finalised the cast we will let everyone know.”
